Iconic

Well been busy and not blogging but here are some Icon Bearers I worked on lately.



First on there is a follower of Slannesh, went for loud, clashing colors. The second is a follower of Nurgle, not fully painted yet but has that diseased look going well. Third is an unpainted follower of Khorne, I cut off both hands and replaced them with blades, which fits his following. Lastly a follower of Tzeech, i used a flying base stand so it looked like the icon was magically floating.

Pictures moved

Its probally been noticed by now some of my pictures are down. I moved them into folders on my photobucket. They can all be seen here if you like.

Future Ideas

Another 40k post here, got some paints for some Chaos Daemonettes that I might be able to get used on Monday. Concord Grape, Plum Kiss, and a few highlights of Neon Pink should be unearthly enough I think.

40k ing

Well, been working on more of my Warhammer 40000 models. Hoping to have some finished pictures up soon, not much else other than its getting colder and wetter.

Imperial

Been painting my guardsmen finally, went with khaki and burgundy, sorta a workman's outfit color befitting their planet. Not much more to say other than Fisk is getting fixed on Wensday.

Insommnia

I have trouble sleeping and wish I could do something about it. Does not effect work much if at all just I have to start getting ready 2 hours ahead of time before I even get to sleep. Ive tried a few techniques but so far just mentally preparing is all that's working for now. Feel free to leave comments on advice, any and all is accepted.

Infrequent posting

Been 5 days since a post, been kinda busy. On the plus side I am gearing up to go back to college, also saw a few friends there I have not seen in awhile. Unfortunately one of the professors i wanted to have has retired I believe. He might just be on a sabbatical, his luck hes going to be back just in time for me. No new pet picts yet, but soon, along with some 40K stuff.

Accepted into the Den

Well it seems my ferrets and my cat are finally getting along well, I found them all sleeping together in one spot.



Its blurry, I may either need to charge my camera... or possibly have to get a new one, Ive had that one almost 7 years i believe and I am hoping its fine. Not much more to share other than finding the program Vassal, It is a score keeping program so you can play tabletop wargames on a computer. Its has a good interface, at least for the Warhammer 40000 program that works with it. Ill try the Legend of Zelda Tabletop Battle Game sometime on it, I do not know the rules but I am sure they are on the web somewhere.

Full Moon Rising

Tommorow night is a full moon and deciding if I want to do anything special. I dont normally but im feeling a bit more grounded lately, might be good for me. Short post as I am tired, I should post a bit more often.

Hammer Time

Played some Red Faction: Guerrilla at a friend's house, and I like it. Nothing more fun than smashing stuff with a hammer, I rarely used any other weapon even the mines as its just break this and break that. Tricky to use on buildings as if your not careful they will collapse around you. The story seems good but hey, I just wanted to break things and break things I did. Don't think ill be able to get it for awhile as I am a bit tied up funds wise but I have plenty of other fun games I have yet to beat.

More cat news

Fisk is growing up fast and im finding that its hard if not impossible to cat proof an apartment. No way for him to get out and lost but theres plenty for him to mess with here. Still, I knew this when i got him so i just have to be more vigiliant.

Late and sleepless

Cant sleep yet, so figured id blog. My little killer is at it again, ripped the head off of one of the catnip mice.


Hes also getting along better with the ferrets, which im glad about, still have to separate when im not home as Coon likes to bite him hard.

Ok, so maybe I overreacted, so heres a picture of my kitten

Storm Warning

Thunderstorm coming down right on top of us soon, just a bit freaked by that. Ive been trying to get over my storm fear for years now, so far not so good. Might just try to sleep through it, get up earlier tommorow or something.

Fisk the cat

Got my new kitten today, Fisk. I named him after one of the main characters in the Better Days webcomic. Hes cute, and a bit odd, treats my feet like toys and keeps scratching me up. Hes getting along ok with the ferrets, still under observation for now as hes just a kitten. My allergies dont seem too bothered either. Hes a great cat and i look forward to spending lots of time with him and the ferrets.

Magic in the Row

Lately, around the evenings ive been splitting my time between Magic: The Gathering, and playing Saints Row 2 to 100% completion. Best part is that game lends itself to that, having all sorts of gathering missions and find this and that type missions, it makes getting there actually quite fun. Right now im at 39% and climbing, i think it tapers off at a point, you have to find stunt jumps and cds and those can be hard, although the stunt jumps are pretty obvious when you find them. They have no indicator but are usually something that screams "that would be sweet to ramp off of." As far as the MTG part of things, mostly just organizing my cards so i can can build decks better, i need a good filing system but one that wont take me forever to sort the first time. I can get a bit obsessive on organization.

Storming

Bit on edge tonight, air is electric and stormy, hoping the net holds up along with the power. Wont be up long however so ill probally sleep through the worst of it. Doesnt seem to bother Bruno my ferret much or the other two ferrets either, then again they sleep through everything, Bruno being the lightest sleeper and up often to check things out. New hours at work are kind of so so, dont really mind them, just i hate driving home so late. Starting up my blogging again as a way to make myself a bit less high strung, hoping it works. Thats fairly good for a first post, probally off to bed soon anyway.
